The Plugin Details window provides details on the currently selected Method or Modifier plugin, and allows you to submit feedback directly from within the application about that plugin.

Details

  • Plugin Name

    • The name of the plugin followed by its on-disk filesize in kilobytes (kibibytes).

  • Summary

    • A brief summary on the purpose of the plugin.

  • Author

    • The author of the plugin. Clicking on the name will allow you to send the author an email using the system's default email client.

  • Website

    • The website for the plugin. Clicking on the URL will launch the system's default browser.

  • Documentation

    • The online documentation for the plugin, if available. Clicking on the URL will launch the system's default browser.

  • Description

    • A more comprehensive description of the plugin.

  • Send Feedback on this Plugin

    • Clicking on this link will show the Feedback form allowing you to send feedback regarding the selected Method or Modifier directly from within FileSieve.

    Tip

    If you have purchased FileSieve, you can enter your account's API Key within the Settings - Account tab to have your feedback tied to your account. This will allow you to directly keep track of feedback and responses.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Unless stated otherwise, these keyboard shortcuts are global to the entire window; pressing them regardless of which control is active will cause them to trigger.

  • F1, Help

    • Displays this page of the documentation.

  • F2

    • This is the keyboard equivalent of clicking on the Details tab.

  • F9

    • This is the keyboard equivalent of clicking on the Send Feedback on this Plugin link.

  • F12

    • This closes the window.
