The Log window provides informational and diagnostic reports on FileSieve's general operation and is the recommended starting location to check if there appears to be a problem.

Please note that the Log window will be redesigned in a future update.

General

  • Log List

    • The list of logged entries since FileSieve started. Double-clicking an entry will display it within a message box.

    FileSieve will remember that the logging window is open if it hasn't been closed when the application exits, and open it automatically when FileSieve is started.
