The following requirements need to be met to use FileSieve 4.
- Windows 10 Anniversary Update (version 1607) or higher
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 Full
A Windows operating system that is Windows 10 version 1607 or higher is required. This is an indirect FileSieve requirement; version 4.8 of the Microsoft .NET framework requires at least this version of the OS.
If you're using pre-Windows 10 or, you can instead use the previous (free) FileSieve 3 release series.
FileSieve 4 has been built on the .NET framework, specifically version 4.8. Please note that the Full version of the framework is required, and not just the Client version that is shipped with some Windows-equipped PCs.
